The Selekta.Com is
the Internet face of The Selekta Crew. The Web site serves as a vehicle
for us to tell the world what we are doing, and more importantly, what
people are doing to impact the global electronic music scene. We feature
interviews; editorials, club and event reviews; 12" record, tape,
CD and video reviews, a massive database of streaming audio and video,
and live broadcasts from across the globe.
The Selekta.Com works
as both an informational resource, and a place to be entertained. It is
dedicated to providing readers with clear and concise journalism that
is not subject to the bias or pretexts that occur in magazines that receive
corporate sponsorship. The members of our staff have come together not
in hopes of profiting from the dance culture, but in hopes of providing
positive guidance and true education about the music and people behind
it.
The Selekta Crew are
come from all aspects of the dance culture. We feature DJs, producers,
sound engineers, technical experts, artists and designers, photographers,
security specialists, event organizers, lighting and sound professionals,
and people who just happen to have a passion for a particular style of
music.
